Summary: The cattle trade between the Kimberley and Fremantle was a large and important industry by 1911. This photograph was published alongside an article describing the increasingly bigger shipments of cattle and sheep from the north-west of Western Australia, all landing at Robb Jetty. Cattle were walked down the jetty and gathered on the beach before they were herded into pens, graded, and sold at auction.
